walk walk walk take picture!
hahaha
trekking today was great!
got to take lotsa pics n had lotsa new experiences.
talked to a fam of tourists from Australia too!
Tom n Taryan and their daughter Franchester (Frankie for short).
literally got in touch with Nature too!
n i was silently humming 'This is my Father's world' as i hiked up.
not as much mozzies as i expected,
but ALOT more squirrels!
i was at a point where there were ard 4 to 5 squirrels jus surrounding me!
i was sore afraid of being swarmed by them.
n when i finally reached e summit, e view wasnt as perfect as expected.
surrounded by trees all over.
zzz.
but it was there tat i met e frenly tourists n recommended places to travel to!
aft a long chat with them, we parted ways n i found my way towards e quarry.
for 1 thing,
it was ultra breezy on a sunny aftnoon!
hav a vid of how e trees rattled.
i was again afraid of bugs or ants falling towards my face.
but i enjoyed it for at least 5mins b4 e wind died down.
den i decided to venture thru e fauna green path which took me away from e main paths but into e jungle with yet more steep steps akin to those when i took e harsh yellow path.
for a lil moment i was pondering wat will happen if i allowed ShoeBox to roam free in there.
will he even survive?
will he turn vegetarian?
anw, i pressed on thru more dangerous looking steps n came to many quirly sights!
did i mention i stole a chateh looking seed from e reserve?
hahaha, it twirls in e air gracefully as it falls with a loud thud.
perhaps tats e inspiration from which chatehs came about.
aft snooping ard Bukit Timah Nature Reserve,
i headed to e adjacent park of Hindhede n towards e Singapore quarry.
e view was FASCINATING!!!!
lovely!
i was in awe,
speechless awe.
u shd see it 1st hand!
n there was this swirling pattern on e surface of e pond, littered by leaves n petals.
it looked as if e Milky Way had invaded it.
specks of green n yellow on 1 side of e lake only.
interesting.
n e playground there looks like one from a deserted town.
a town tat one one has visited for yrs.
no one to groom it or even sweep up dead leaves.
felt as if i was transported to another dimension suddenly.
think red skies and black clouds with ashes flying in e wind.
sounds so post-apocalyptic.
in fact, it seems so vivid tat i can visualize it in full HD.
ah well,
this is wat u get when u combine a bored to death indoor male seeking some form of outdoor thrill n excitement.
anw, it's off to bed for me,
gotta wakeup early to go partial solar eclipse viewing!
=]
pics coming up soon on FB!
