Im like so dejected today...
oh man...
first was e discrimination,
nxt was i rushed to sch jus to find that there wasnt any 101 lecture at 330pm!
n den at 430pm there was e 102 lecture, but like, we're already forced to self-study it with our given assignment which is due next wed.
n he's jus going thru it today...
but oh well, at least i came to sch to crash my fren's econs tutorial so tat i dun hav to go for tml's.
okok,
den nxt was tat, i was sooooo eager to get my shoes by today, jus to find tat e last pair is taken up by Ethan!!!
ARGH!!!!
tot there were at least more stocks of it!

phew, havent updated for awhile.
due to all those long nights every night (or every morning)
too lazy to write down wat happened over e weeks but yeah.
lotsa events here n there.

other den it being a sunny sunny day.
i cant believe im actually being discriminated against!!! (or was it?)
hmm.
was having my usual meepok (my fav usual dish from times past)
*digress digress*
used to be fried rice when my appetite was big! like in sec sch?
den meepok was my usual when i didnt feel like eating.
den it grew to become mixed veg rice due to e variety of ingredients.
n now my appetite has yet grown even smaller,
meepok is back on e list!

anw today's meepok was nicee,
ate it at this partially modern and partially rundown suburban coffeeshop jus behind my house 5 mins away.
only ate there like twice or thrice in my entire life.
(YES i noe im super-pure lazy to even go down there)
went there on e way to find thinner for saffie.
n den like, this drink stall auntie asked e two ppl in front of me whether they wanted a drink.
den when she came to me, she seemed to totally ignore me n looked hesitant to ask me!
not til i gave her a glance!
okok tats jus e starting.
ordered e usual ice milo and when it came, guess wat?
It's $1.40!!!!
can u imagine that?
i think even e airconditioned kopitiam at e plaza sells it for much less!!!
let alone this not-here-not-there coffeeshop!

i dun even hav a straw to drink with!!!
had to resort to sipping using e edge of e semi-black-rimmed cup!

den a power trip would be e most apt answer.
den within a few moments, they came out slowly with a box of doughnuts in their hand,
singing a birthday song.
DEn again, I was thinking to myself.
"shdnt b me rite? Im sure there's someone else's bday being celebrated."

asked me to get closer else they had to shout out e bday song!

so the latter 3 kinda walked ard to try to find e place, i think.

Starlight, star bright...
phew, jus came back from a morning jog.
yeah, started jogging at 1am.
YAY! i finally completed my assignment for programming!
(which is like due in 13hours time...)
n oso half of my EC assignment!
have not much time left to complete e other half.
since it's due on mon.
anw, i jus speculated tat e best time to see e Orion's belt at night from my window would b at 1.30am!!!
coz by 4am, e constellation would b almost directly above my head.
i'll have to stick my head out of e window jus to observe it.
anw, here are the photos of ytd aftnoon n night.

its so heavy tat e visibility is close to 0!

at first i tot e belt was e string of 3 stars in a row!
found out i was wrong aft i googled it.
haha!
its actually shaped like an hourglass with a tilted line.
so amazing isnt it?
hmmm,
mayb a few months down e road i'll get to spot e famous big dipper ya?
n all e other constellations
provided tat it isnt cloudy at night.
yeah anw,
its so ironic how im being encouraged by someone who deserves more encouragement den me.
but oh well,
hope this in turn encourages her more!!!

so i had to blast real loud through my headphones n yeah,
it works!!!
mayb it's this x-factor in this genre of music tat gives me e 'oomph'!
n i think im gonna b deaf soon.
while jogging, i usually turn on my music to vol3.5, max 4
but today, it seems as if i cant hear e music.
so i turned it up to volume5!!!
n beside, my earphones are not e standard ones.
they r e louder den usual earphones!
so if i use a normal earpiece,
i would need ard a volume 6 or 6.5!
sony ericsson users shd noe how loud tat sounds.
im muz b CRAZY!

Lightning storm all ard and about me.
FREAKY!
its e closest i've ever been to one.
imagine tat there's no lag time between e thunder n lightning!
n tat caused my circuit breaker to trip 4 times!
n oh ya!
i realized theres a Yami Yoghurt n Pie Kia shop ard my area!
its at CCK Interchange!
yum yum.
havent eaten Yami for countless months!
n i wanna try Pie Kia too!
seems nicee~

consisting of 7 stars shaped like an hourglass!
i always tot it was those 3 stars in a row.

im actually quite surprised tat rite now,
ppl call me a Filipino or Indonesian!
i tot i've long passed tat era!
n i think my malay features are fast disappearing.
no more Taufik for me!

den there's this senior in my CCA called Jane,
asked which country I was from!!!
n she said i dun look singaporean!

imagine with all e humps n harsh brakings....
i was actually rather afraid too!
im not gonna do tat ever again!
even though i knew she could take it.
but here's e worst part.
she says i went at an average speed!!!
not fast enough for her!
i was like, "oh my, im already so terrified! n u arent?"

im so sry for staying so late.
i feel so guilty!
we danced til ard 10 plus close to 11!
much longer den we used to on tuesdays.
den poor joseph who is waiting for my transport back had to wait long.
n like, he had some project work to do back home.
i could sense his urgency in wanting to reach home but he kept declining tat n reassured me instead.
but i still feel so guilty!!!
argh.

my right hip joint is in tremendous pain today.
couldnt dance well this time.
n tats a huge bummer.
it didnt used to be this way.
n i jus happened to remem e triple crack on my right hip whenever i walk.
while my left only had 1.
now tats really freaky.
mayb one day, i'll dance til my entire right leg pops out.
den i can go sell it for some cash!
"lelong lelong, who needs an extra leg!?"
n yes, its begun to instill pain when i walk now...
anw, i double checked the sky n ya.
it's STILL cloudy!!!!

WHEE!!!!
dance was fantastic on sat nite!
learnt much more stuff den we could ever learn.
we touched up on e basics of our steps.
ie. e step refinement.
cant believe that our instructor, Mario, can turn something so simple into something so delicate and precise!
n yeah...
SUAY SUAY KANA CALLED UP AGAIN!
n like in front of his pro dance class, he called up 3 frm there, n me as e last example from the NTU group.
asked us to show our 'New York' step with our partners.
den i was like stunned stunned blur blur when i walked up to e centre.
i was thinking at that point of time, "Oh gawrsh, y am i being called...?"
but anw, we had fun while dancing again!
n yeah, today had to dance with my partner n Saffie coz she didnt hav a partner.
n like e diff was super great!
KaiXuan dances with bigger steps while Saffie dances like almost literally on e spot!
it's as if she doesnt move at all!
im like SOOO not used to it.
yeah den aft tat, some of us went to try on e shoe sizes.
n nope, i think e USA imports weren't here yet.
but den Saffie got hers for only 40 bucks!

n like, i was with my bike... so it was harder for me to find where they were!

its a lone ranger kinda thing.
u cant get to enjoy e interaction with frens as u travel.
n tats y i dun ride on sundays.
1st most imptant thing is, when u wanna pillion someone n they r not allowed or are afraid to pillion.
oh well, wateva...
i still need my bike.
might prove handy in times to come.
who knows, i might hav to travel to e other end of singapore frequently?

one for YPF n 1 for church choir.
Anni lunch was gd too!

but there wasnt any noodles...
hmm, im still thinking of whether i shd join e carolling band again this yr.
but i've got Church Choir ongoing at e same time as e Carolling practice!
n it starts next sun.

Whee! jus came home from sch.
yeah.
reached home at 2am!
im like so crazy.
this is e 1st ever supper ever eaten with schmates!
n like,
we were even crazier!
we danced til 1130pm!!!
from like 7pm???
theres like so much to learn.
so much to practise on!
still cant get that 'cucaracha' step perfectly yet.
oh, n i simply LOVE the 'sliding doors'!
i find it SOOO COOL!!!
i wonder wat e other variations are!
oh n like,
tml there's dance again!!!
but its a formal dance lesson.
this time its 15 per session.
discounted rates already!
n like im already set to join e competition at e end of e yr!
finally could try on e dance shoes today!
super scary!
i used to wear 13.5 in sec sch...
size 10 in jc,
size 9 aft tat,
n now,
im gonna squeeze my big feet into a size 7!!!
its like as tight as those rock climbing shoes!!!!
my poor poor feet.
oh wells,
im not e only one.
my partner, who wears a size 7, has to squeeze (VERY TIGHTLY) into a size 5.5!
n like saffie has to find a size 1.5 (which wasnt in e range of shoes displayed today)!!!
we're all like so MISERABLE!

1st, tkd has degraded my knees.
now i think dance is so gonna turn to my hip joint next!
it's cracky!
ok NOT cracky. it's POP-PY!
totally gross n painful at times!
but oh well,
sometimes sacrifices are needed.

its jus so amazing how i can see the entire Orion's belt once again from my window!
its so LOVELY!
all e shimmering stars!
n oh, ytd there was a REALLY bright 1!
if i had a DSLR,
i'll definitely capture tat down!
yeah i definitely need a personal cam.
jus keep it with me wherever i go!
i jus like to take pictures!
it's those memories tat u would wanna keep.
n now i only hav a hp cam to deal with...
its only 2mp n its out of space!!!!
anw, my partner is like bugging me to go sleep le.
so here i go, back to my comfy little 'heaven',
with my 2 pillows n 2 bolsters!!!

Starry Starry Night
I gazed upon the heavens
from this humble little city,
there it shone,
ravishing in all its beauty.
celestial beings prancing round and about,
some forming a line,
some stood without.
cleansing our morbid hearts,
as we marvel at its sight.
Winking from e edges
a new smile thru the night.
have been 'getting' gigs n GIGS of songs these few days!
i think now my music folder is ard 10gb or more!
i need more den an 8gb iPod touch to store it!
oh well,
if u include all e vids...
nah i think i'll jus stop here.
i still prefer instrumental songs most of the time!
compared to eng, jap, kor and chi!
i think i seldom listen to chinese songs already.
(except for e remnant few in my hp)
i really think i need an mp3 player...
one big enough to store songs.
n to listen on those crazily-insanely long bus rides.
(well, i could listen to them while riding i suppose?)
anw,
to those whose exams r coming,
all e best in studying hard.
or even trying to concentrate!
im so gonna need my instrumental music + liang teh combi while programming.
well, compared to e successful geeks of old,
i think its much safer den coke + acid jazz.
or mayb i shd switch to kickapoo + trance or something to get a better kick out of it.
(n kickapoo has caffeine!)
n no COFFEE for me!
guess perhaps i DO need caffeine patches (like those nicotine patches for smokers) to keep me going on n on n on n on...

oh my.
now e healed blister skin is popped out aft today's dance session!
plus 1 more patch of skin being rubbed out at e smallest toe
but nah its aint pain.
jus looks scary.
danced Jive, Chacha and Rumba today.
Rumba today was fun!
learnt e 'sliding doors'!
this is e fun part of Rumba which i like!
hahaa
hands twirling here n there!
whee~
hand to coordinate e hands plus e feet.
but den once u get it, u'll get it!
err well, basically i din quite follow e hand actions
did my own coz i cant remem wat e actions were!
hahhaha
oops...
n i cant even do tat basic rumba steps.
i dunno how to spell it but i think its pronounced this way: 'kookaraj'!

yeah tat step is stil hard to grasp.
i still cant sway my hips tat way.
not yet i suppose.

which im still quite bad at my final pose n posture.
looks weird.

its uber tough to maintain tat bounciness and oso e composure when e music goes way fast!
n den all e hands n feet will shou mang jiao luan!!!
n i feel so bad,
i hit my partner's head while twirling ard!

i dunno.
most prob im gonna go for dance lessons every sat.

n hav kinda applied it since young.

so basically,
sometimes my feelings are sponged from others.
but sometimes i jus gotta be strong n not be swayed by others.
but all in all,
im happy when everyone is happy.
n i'll try my all to help those who arent!
so peeps,
