Butt aches and a hella of green

so no choice but to pay e entire $365.11 all by myself,
cutting my bank funds by half...

ytd, hellish day.
morning woke up at 5 plus to attend some weird parade in camp early early in e morn...
next was a supposed 4km run which i ran only half of it since im a slacker anyway.
next was a training session where we did stretching(no splits thankfully), agility exercises, bridges and target practice...
was expecting contact sparring though.
havent punched n kicked anyone for too long.

yeah, tats when e mishap happened,
one guy tried too hard to execute a turning kick to e waist lvl fell down n injured his tailbone i.e. his pelvis.

he was den sent to hospital A&E n tat ended e training very abrubtly...
can say tat thanks to him, we wouldnt get much more aches on our calves, thighs, gluteus, quads, abs etc.

sad, an unfortunate incident before i went to amoy quee camp without my lunch since i had no time...
another bad news,
since e one injured was supposed to hav duty on tat night itself, i was being 'asked' to be his replacement...
super last minute.
den my boss was kind enough to fetch me home from tat god-forsaken amoy quee camp in yio chu kang, just to get my stuff for duty...

finishing at 8am, next was a lesson at Officer Cadet School (OCS) where i had to assist all e way til 10am before rushing home to meet feng who was leaving for india on monday. ate at pastamania at westmall...

travelled lastly to vivo to catch a movie with my cousin.
well, as expected by someone, most movies were either selling fast or were really late in the evening.
so 2 choices left.
BEE MOVIE? or ENCHANTED?

well, it doesnt matter,
i didnt regret my choice.

weekend craze

oh...
fri WAS bad...
went thru another day of hellish training of air-punching n kicking,
target practice of striking techniques(which i skipped half of it due to unforeseen reasons) and also a revision of some 'COntrol and Restraint'(C&R) technique which we held in e grassy, muddy n itchy field.
yep, definitely being forced to be taken down onto e field.
fortunately, i skipped tat too!!

hahaha, wateva comes to us, we 'taichi' it all away.

last but not least, e dreaded 2mins pugil stick sparring between instructors.
well at least i fared averagely okay.



next comes sat,
whole day taken up by YPF.
went there, listen to e 'Anger management' sermon,
which i dun think it really applies to me since i simply push anger away frm my face most of e time.
had dinner at adam road food centre n ate tons of stuff.
(well, not literally 'tons')
hmm, first was e famous Nasi Lemak from Adam road.
side dish was some malay styled Roti John with mutton.
yum.
coupled with a scoop or 2 of tao suan.

n aft tat, we headed straight to Island creamery again where most of us tried out e Reverso flavoured icecream.(Chocolate + Oreo)
simply sinful.
but it doesnt really matter to me since it wouldnt even add an inch to my waistline.
bwaHaahaahA~

had a wonderful time of fellowship too.



ahh, today, learnt some Canto song for carolling usage during Christmas, which was really tough to handle without any hanyu pinyin.
n besides, e hanyu pinyin is exclusive to ur own self so u cant really copy it frm others.
e first time u hear it, u'll b wondering bout all e 'ching ching chong choi loi lei' etc.
rather amusing language.
(yet im supposed to be a Canto myself)


there aft, we went to far east to makan hainanese chicken rice n ate waffles at Gelare.
waffles WERE GD!!!
had banana walnut ice cream waffle, topped with caramel
and another totally white choco chip ice cream waffle, topped with chocolate and cream!

and rite now im back home, worrying bout wat i hav to do tml.
since in e morning i hav to arrive at 715 to conduct a warmup for e entire camp..
n i hav to stay behind e gym desk as a 'receptionist' e entire day!

had a weird dream last nite...
something bout demons attacking e city in human guise.
n there was i struggling for my life when a 'soldier' entered my hiding place n played a little life n death game with me.
at e end, when there was no winner, he turned off e lights...

n snuck an attack on me!
which i den blocked n countered with a sharpened chopstick(?) n rammed in into e side of e neck.
its skin was strong but i used my entire strength to force its way in when it suddenly spoke to me, "Nice one, but not gd enough..."

n then *poof* it became coco crunch!!!

nah, dunno wat happened aft tat.
woke up already.

on sat i've been called by my boss to be on standby.
coz a fellow PTI whom has already ORDed n signed on had passed away tat morn.
frm wat i heard, he somehow drifted towards his fren's bike when they were riding side by side,
causing his fren on e left side to be thrown towards e bushes while he swerved to e right and was hit by an oncoming van.
think it was an immediate death on e spot.
yeah, tats y on sun i wore black with e intention to be called for activation anytime, even during church in e morn.
in e end i wasnt called(phew?)
but still i made my way down in e evening...
could only see his top half as e bottom was covered by a white cloth...
seemed a little pale there...

n as soon as i knew it, i was arrowed by e higer-ups to be e Emcee for the military funeral this coming wed.
fortunately according to some G1 directives, a Captain is supposed to be e 1 doing.
if me, a puny little CorPoraL were to read e script,
i guess i wld hav a nervous breakdown rite away...
nah, i just dun like to do all these saddening stuff...

with e idea of going to esplanade without any valid reasons.
but by a sudden stroke of brain juice jolting leliang's mind,
we came to a kinda unique cafe.
really unique in s'pore but ive heard bout it many times in other countries.
here, e waitresses dress up as maids or don japanese kimonos(those modern trendy 1s) n serve customers.

when u think about how many posts ive written, i might wonder about whether i can recall those incidents tat ive blogged about...

i noe Ratatouille was nice but i didnt think tat i wld watch it 2ice,
1 on thurs, 1 on fri.
n 5 hrs ago i was watching Rogue Assasin.

dubbed e 'ultimate martial arts movie of e yr' or something...
well i guess if u wanna watch martial arts flicks,
u're better off with Flashpoint which was wayyyy better.
Rogue, to me, was jus a normal hollywood movie.
abit more on story plot n gals(Devon Aoki frm DOA) n stars(frm The Transporter, NFS: Tokyo Drift n many more)
felt like a mix n mash kinda movie.

however, e best part was e super big twist in story plot near e end.
which i'd say tat no one would ever imagine tat til they said so.
hmmm but i STILL dun understand e double crossing here n there n tipping off n watsoever.
but i DO like e sword fighting in this show *SPOILER ALERT*

oh wells... overall i'd give 3.5/5

Army Half Marathon

oh my~
i completed my 21km competitve!
i cant believe it.
tot i'd jus fall down n die there.

if not it'd take an entire bottle of 100plus to refill my body's water source.

i finally had my 1st accident on my bike today...

well, it was actually kinda fun.
though its abit painful,
coz there are more scratches on my bike n my helmet!
wah!!!

my body only suffered a few scratches here n there.
but it aint as bad as i tot it wld b.
compared to my instructor course + 1 yr of shouting to recruits + demonstrations,
it didnt even come close!

now my bike signal lights went 'poof'
n my right foot brake is abit 'sang-eh'

n now my mirrors hav both cracked!

yeah, wat happened was actu me going to e bike shop in alexandra to renew my insurance n bike road tax.
so i forced my bro to go with me.
den like my bro is those type of hazardous road devil..
so on e way back he did e same thing.
chiong abit alot den slow dwn wait for me like wanna haolian like tat.
so we came to this cross junction when e light turned amber den like my bro was ahead of me so i chiong abit while he slowed down n jammed brake.
so end result = i almost hit him frm behind so i swerved right n mu signal lights(e far left of my bike) hit somepart of his bike den i fishtailed n skidded abit in e middle of e junction.
yeah.
but seriously,
e fall was kinda fun though.
reminded me of my close combat technique (side breakfall).
sad... my helmet scratched haha.
but imagine if i jammed brake, i wld hav hit my bro's bike n we both kana.
den i would have flyed like superman. lol
thank God i skidded instead n was wearing a full-face helmet.

nth beats a gd day rest aft uve psyched out ur mind n body over a gruesome 5 hour continuous strain.

but b4 tat, i had a fun time introducing my little game-addicted cousin to a new game tat partially warded him from e com.
its called F.irst E.ncounter A.ssault R.econ.
it is a regular first person shooter kinda game tat has a theme based on e sixth sense.
yeah...
it totally freaked my cousin out!

results were somewat successful.
he only played e parts where there were shooting involved,
not those where he had to navigate though dark dark corridors that looked like silent hill(before it was dusk)
conclusion: this game deters players, esp those of a weak heart, frm playing excessively when u limit him to playin only this game. ahahaha
